Robert Harrington provides consulting services specializing in the construction and maintenance of asphalt racing surfaces. Bob has 27 years experience with Barrett Paving Materials Inc., a major DOT approved asphalt paving company with divisions throughout the United States and Canada. Bob has field experience working with paving contractors from superintendent to senior engineer.
Since his retirement from Barrett in 2001 Bob has expanded the services he was already providing to owners related to design and construction of motorsport facilities and more specifically their tracks. He currently represents Penske Motorsports and the Penske Automotive Group and is a consultant to International Speedway Corporation and NASCAR.
Bob has worked on over 23 NASCAR and IRL race tracks in the United States, Canada, Mexico and England.
