The Driver Training Center at Gainesville Raceway was designed to provide the local law enforcement community with a venue for advanced skills driver training with specific attention being paid to the type of roadways found in the surrounding areas.  The course layout, although restricted to a limited acerage, recognizes the significant role played by the heavy, powerful types of car used for enforcement and offers both high speed and simulated city type tight confine driving challenges. The layout includes sections where weight transfer at speed becomes a focus of driver training, all in a manner that ensures maximum safety for participants. With the course layout able to be used in all directions, emulating city blocks, sharp turnarounds, fast twisty sections, the multiplicity of layouts ensures that every training session offers new challenges. The Training Center at Gainesville Raceway accommodates both car and motor cycle needs.
