Handling Course at Transport Research Center Marysville, Ohio

This facility was commissioned by Honda America and TRC to provide an advanced, at limit, testing course for front wheel drive cars, light trucks and SUV’s to help Honda’s suspension and handling engineers develop safe, reliable and exceptionally stable front wheel drive cars for the general public. The course offers both high speed and technical sections with longitudinal and cross grades that stress the suspension when worked under extreme speed and weight loading conditions. With multiple course layouts (operating in both clockwise and counter clockwise direction), this facility has proved to be very demanding and extremely valuable. The facility has also become a test center for race cars and motorcycles and serves as a base for manufacturer dealer, customer and media vehicle introduction activities, and driver training.
